I designed and made split pin puppets based off of the Rat King and Nutcracker from The Nutcracker ballet, to go alongside the Sugar Plum Fairy I had designed and made into a doll. This project aimed to make ballet feel more accessible to a wide range of people, through a complete redesign of the characters and an emphasis on the viewer creating their own story.
